When you submit our enquiry form we collect your name, phone number, email address, the area you are in, the type of work you need and any details you choose to add in the message field.

If you contact us by phone or email we hold whatever details you give us in that conversation, including the address of the property the work relates to.

When we carry out work we hold the records required for certification and scheme registration, such as the property address and the test results for the installation.

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a survey, prepare and send a quote, carry out and invoice for work, and issue the certification for that work.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to the enquiry you made.

We process enquiry details on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.

Where we carry out work, we process your information to perform our contract with you and to meet our legal obligations, including notification of notifiable work to building control and record-keeping for our competent person scheme.

We share information only where it is necessary: with our competent person scheme and building control for the notification and certification of notifiable work, with our accountant for invoicing and tax records, and with our insurers if a claim arises.

If your enquiry is submitted through a form that forwards messages to our email or customer management system, that provider processes the message on our behalf.

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as they are useful for following up, and then deleted.

Records relating to completed work, certification and invoicing are kept for as long as we are required to hold them for legal, scheme and insurance purposes.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it, and to object to or restrict certain processing.
